Nikon Imaging Korea (CEO Hae-hwan Jung), an optical instrument specialist, announced that it will operate the July Nikon School focused on indoor lectures instead of outdoor shooting sessions to mark the beginning of the rainy season.
First, the offline lectures are packed with programs to broaden the understanding of photography and enhance practical shooting capabilities. On July 3, the "Rainy Season, Photography, and a Night Stroll" session will provide an opportunity to look back on past photos and share thoughts and experiences about photography. Following this, on July 8, the "Pixel Project" will review works shot during the June outdoor session to discuss the meaning of recording and photo archiving.
Additionally, on July 9, the "Invention and Evolution of Photography" lecture will cover the history and development process of photographic technology. The "Practical Basics of Speedlight Utilization" and "How to Take and Edit Great Sunset Nightscape Photos" lectures, scheduled for July 23 and 24 respectively, will introduce the principles and applications of artificial lighting, as well as detailed know-how on brightness, color, noise reduction, and post-processing for night photography.
The online lectures will consist of two courses. On July 13, the "Essential Nikon Camera Settings and Shooting Skills" lecture will introduce key functions and shooting setups of Nikon cameras, including exposure, focus, white balance, and Picture Control. On July 16, the "Mirroring Nikon Mirrorless Monitors to External Devices and Tool Configuration/Utilization for Shooting Support" lecture will cover various equipment utilization tips to improve shooting efficiency, such as external monitoring.
Ju-eun Lee, Marketing Manager at Nikon Imaging Korea, stated, "This Nikon School is designed so that participants can comfortably learn and enjoy photography indoors even during July, when the rainy season and sweltering heat continue. As it covers a wide range of topics from the basics of photography to reflecting on shooting experiences, we hope it serves as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of photography."
