- Empowering Aspiring Photographers and Filmmakers Worldwide with $50,000 in Total Grants and GFX System Loans
Fujifilm has officially launched the "GFX Challenge Grant Program 2026," a global initiative dedicated to nurturing talented visual artists from around the world.
Now in its recurring year, this program continues to expand the ecosystem of the medium-format digital camera market. Designed as a large-scale global grant project, it helps photographers and videographers bring their creative visions to life without financial or technical constraints. The program categorizes awards into two distinct tiers based on project scale and nature: the "Global Grant Award" and the "Regional Grant Award."
The 5 chosen Global Grant Award recipients will each receive a $10,000 project budget (approx. 13 million KRW), while 15 Regional Grant Award winners will receive $5,000 each. In addition to the monetary funding, all winners will enjoy the exclusive benefit of using Fujifilm’s cutting-edge large-format system—including GFX camera bodies and GFX lenses—on a complimentary loan basis to support their production throughout the project period.
The program is open to any passionate creator in the visual arts field, including professional photographers and cinematographers, regardless of genre. Applicants must submit their project proposals and portfolios via the official website. Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and how effectively the project utilizes the full potential of the GFX system.
