Nikon Imaging Korea (CEO Chae-hwan Jung), a company specializing in optical instruments, announced today the selected lens for the June edition of its ‘Monthly NIKKOR’ campaign—a monthly initiative dedicated to highlighting the unique characteristics and appeal of NIKKOR Z lenses—alongside an official product registration promotion to celebrate the occasion.
‘Monthly NIKKOR’ is a campaign showcased at the beginning of each month on the official Nikon Imaging Korea website. It introduces portrait photography portfolios captured using the Nikon Z series lenses, creating a curated archive of diverse seasonal portrait lookbooks and their behind-the-scenes stories.
The featured lens for June, the ‘NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II’, is a telephoto zoom lens engineered with a lightweight design of approximately 998g, making it highly suitable for extended shooting sessions. Equipped with the ‘Silky Swift VCM (SSVCM)’, it delivers autofocus (AF) speeds approximately 3.5 times faster than previous models, enabling photographers to accurately capture dynamic, fast-moving subjects.
To commemorate the selection of the June lens, Nikon Imaging Korea is offering a complimentary premium lens protection filter, the ‘ARCREST II PROTECTION FILTER 77mm’ (valued at 140,000 KRW based on the official E Shop retail price), to customers who purchase the product. This filter features an ultra-low reflection ‘Zero-One AR Coating’ with a single-surface reflectance of approximately 0.1%, effectively minimizing ghosting and flare artifacts.
To participate in the promotional event, customers must purchase the qualifying lens between today and June 30, complete their official product registration and request a free service warranty extension by July 7, and subsequently submit their event application by July 14.
