Nikon Imaging Korea (CEO Jeong Hae-hwan), an optical devices specialist, has unveiled its online and offline "Nikon School" curriculum for June. This edition of Nikon School stands out by offering photo walks across various iconic locations in Seoul, including Yeonnam-dong, Banpo Bridge, Guro, and Yongsan.
First, the "Yeonnam-dong Urban Walk - The Stroller" class on June 12 will take participants through the alleys of Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, to capture the essence of the city. On June 13, a "Sunset & Night Landscape Photography Session" will be held at the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain. On June 20, the "Depth of Field Know-How through Flower Macro and Focus Stacking" class at Pureun Arboretum in Guro-gu will share practical tips ranging from macro shooting to focus stacking and post-processing techniques.
Additionally, on June 27 at 2:00 PM, the "Practice on Lens & Aperture Characteristics - Understanding Focal Length" class will take place at the "Statue of Brothers" in the War Memorial of Korea, Yongsan. Following this at 4:00 PM, the "Yongsan Photo Walk - Pixel Project" will allow participants to capture various street subjects from their own unique perspectives.
The online curriculum consists of two courses. On June 5, "Maximizing the Use of Nikon Mirrorless Function & Physical Buttons" will introduce button setup methods and tips tailored to different shooting scenarios. On June 11, the "Mastering Camera Modes: M/A/S/P!" class will cover the most suitable shooting modes for various genres in detail.
The online lectures can be streamed for free on Nikon Imaging Korea's official YouTube channel, while the offline classes require separate registration to participate. Detailed schedules and application methods can be found on the official website.
