LK SAMYANG, a global optical specialist, announced the L-mount release of the AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE, the first product in its compact zoom series co-developed with the renowned German optical brand, Schneider-Kreuznach.
The AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE is a collaborative masterpiece that combines Schneider-Kreuznach’s precision optical design with LK SAMYANG’s manufacturing and AF expertise. Upon its initial debut, it set a new standard in the ultra-wide angle zoom market. It gained significant attention for its innovative design, which features a compact and lightweight body while allowing the use of standard 77mm front filters, greatly enhancing user convenience.
Since then, the compact zoom series has expanded with the AF 24-60mm F2.8 FE standard zoom, providing new options for users seeking both portability and practicality. Furthermore, LK SAMYANG previewed the completion of the series at this year’s CP+ exhibition by announcing plans to release the AF 60-180mm F2.8 FE telephoto zoom lens.

The AF 14-24mm F2.8 L-mount lens will be available sequentially in global markets starting from South Korea on April 30, 2026.
