Fujifilm Electronic Imaging Korea (Fujifilm Korea) is hosting illustrator Hyeokgu’s solo exhibition, ‘Moments Where Light Dwells’, at the Avenuel store in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The exhibition will run for approximately a month and a half, from August 5 through September 16.
Widely recognized for his work on major corporate projects—including Hyundai Motor, Samsung Bespoke, KT, and LH—as well as the Sanullim 50th Anniversary Project and album artwork for artists Yerin and Tei, Hyeokgu is an illustrator known for capturing fleeting everyday moments of light and emotion through his refined lens.

1. Core Theme ‘Light’ & Featured Artwork ‘SUMMER BOY’
- Illuminating Fleeting Moments: The artworks capture the passage of time and subtle textures of air across diverse everyday scenes—sunlight filtering through a park, a city bathed in sunset hues, views drifting past a window, and streetlights glowing in the night.
- Reinterpreted Highlight Piece ‘SUMMER BOY’: A reimagined interpretation of a piece originally released roughly five years ago. By keeping the background restrained and focusing solely on the artist's persona character 'Hyeok', the piece creates a deep immersion into the distinct seasonal warmth and emotion created by light.
- Light in Motion via Animated Artworks: Short animated clips accompanying each illustration infuse movement and realistic presence into static artwork by animating subtle shifts of light and air.
2. Messages from the Artist & Fujifilm Korea
- Illustrator Hyeokgu: "I hope viewers feel as though they have paused at those places themselves, even without physically being there. I want the air, sunlight, and emotions I felt while creating these works to resonate with visitors. I plan to continue creating art that conveys memories and feelings through light."
